Volunteering

Volunteers are a key resource for our school as they offer an opportunity for increased involvement and diversity within the organisation and most importantly, to support us in the huge range of off-site activities we plan and carry out each year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for offering your time to support The Dell and our wider goals.

The guide below is designed to act as a quick reference guide for Volunteering with and for Monmouthshire County Council. It sets out what you can expect from Volunteering with us, and in turn what we expect from you. It also introduces and explains some of key duties that Council employees and Volunteers need to adhere to, for example Confidentiality, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.

While our pupil and parent population changes regularly, we aim to maintain a list of volunteers for activities within and beyond the school and we aim to ensure that volunteers have appropriate training and clearance for the range of activities they support us with.

Please do contact the school office if you have any questions about volunteerng and supporting the school.
